That sounds awesome! You really captured a sense of mystery that comes with any good cave exploration. Is this a game we'll be able to play some day?

hopefully, yes. so far I've worked on it in RPG Maker VX. i have a friend who is working on the tile sets to make the graphics unique. and now that VX Ace is out, I might consider doing a conversion to that, more extensive platform. It's hard to make a large scale RPG on your own, I'm finally getting some more people on board though, so I'm hoping that it'll pick up some speed now. :)

I just beat Chrono Trigger for the first time - if this is my next RPG after that, you're going to have to be amazing. Seems like you're already on your way there with at least the sound!

hoho, you'll probably have to play at least 2 jrpgs SLOWLY before this is done XD
I'll probably put up a playable beta for testing when the graphics are done though - but only for the invited.
boss key people would probably be on my list ^^

i thought about posting this in the art section, but seeing as it is on my channel and contains my music, i'll just post it here

http://youtu.be/FPaCxS_jRJ0?hd=1

it's a speed drawing time lapse by my close friend Kim... "Fishing Sonic" is the title of the drawing, and the music is my remix of Ice Cap Zone from Sonic 3.. hope you all watch it to the end, his unique style and skill is beyond interesting

update:
I started a band. We're recording our first EP.
Expect a release this quarter. We're taking our time, though. So no promises.

If you don't like progressive stoner post-rock, just go to my soundcloud: http://soundcloud.com/platonist and download some chiptunes or something.. lol

Yes, it's strange, at least. Never really got this far before with any band. It's messing with my head - but in a good way.

oh, im back already. didn't think we'd do something like this so soon, but ok.
we recorded one of our rehearsals today, haha. with just a camera, nothing more.
a little preview of what might happen. this is probably the most pop-oriented song in our set-list.
some of you might've heard it before. hehe

oh well, might as well make an update here for you lovelies.
i play in two bands now. My own band as mentioned earlier, Maudlin Dryad.
But I also play the bass guitar in another band from around here called Ikiryo.
Insane garage-esque alternative rock. It's fun to just play and not have anything to do with the songwriting/arrangement for once. A breath of fresh air.
Dante (lead singer/guitarist) just uploaded a video that we recorded a while back.
If you're interested you can check it out here:

Chiptunemaking is on a short break right now, because I'm working on my first ever (!!!!) Platonist Live Set! premiere due this summer. It's gonna take a lot of energy to get all the loose ends to work together so I'm putting my regular schedule aside for a while at least.

Hope you're doing well, guys.
