Valve - Pick Up That Can in Video Games

Yes, Valve, maker of fine quality games since time in memorial. Half Life, Portal, Left 4 Dead, Team Fortress, Other Stuff, all developed or produced by Valve, headed by professional cool person Gabe Newell. They've been pushing the boundaries of gamer/developer relations for years, from their wildly successful platform Steam, to their Player feedback so rarely utilized as effectively in major companies.

Love 'em or hate 'em they're doing something right. Question is...

the question...

is...

Has "Valve Time" finally imploded on itself, taking Episode 3 with it? If this is truly the case, only one hero can save us now...

I've been a big fan of Valve since the release of Half Life 1..I think Episode 3 (or Half Life 3) will actually be out - eventually - but it's not ready yet. I usually get really stoked for e3 but I try not to get too hopeful so I don't get my heart broken.

At this point I just want something NEW out of Half Life. Whether it's in the form of episode 3, or Half Life 3, or Gordon Freeman's Dance Dance Combine Revolution, I just want something neeeeewww.

Steam leaks my RAM into [insert unknown dimension name here] from update to update. sometimes it's good but then a Steam update comes a long and i can't play anything for a while. It is really irritating and I've been browsing the forums of the web for answers to this issue, but it seems like everyone who brings it up either gets cocky replies from Valve mods that the issue doesn't exist (even if it seems to be rather common) or they'll just end up banned.
I'm not gonna bother signing up for a valve forum account, but i wonder if you guys have any thoughts on this.

disclaimer: i deeply respect Valve for their innovative games and the idea of Steam. but banning your users for simply asking the wrong questions sounds a little strange. please prove me wrong, boss key.

I am really excited about what Valve is doing. If they can give me a software solution for my home entertainment center woes, I will be very happy.
